I have been to the Groove train over 20 times in the last year. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and for the most part the food is good and tasty. However it all depends on the chef. Each time I order the calaramari disk and 50% of the time is is spectacular and the other 50% it is oily, rubbery or just plain awful. It seems weekend dinner chef is the best, any other time of day the food is sloppy.

What can I say excellent food and service. The Calzone seafood pizza is just awesome !! We always take friends here who are staying with us as we know the food will be great and also the menu is extensive so always something there for everyone. My only gripe is it's a little pricey but then again you get what you pay for !!

Went there on saturday night and just managed to get a table, the place was that full. The atmosphere was sensational with funky music and friendly energetic staff making our night even more enjoyabe. Started off with a couple of cocktails, which were very tasty, (the bartender helped us with our choices) then sat down and ordered the woodfired lamb pizza, and my partner had the fish of the day. The food arrived at our table in about 25 min, which was very quick considering how full they were, and both dishes were delicious, and the fish was exceptionally fresh. The service was amazing and the meals were very well priced. Ive just found my new favorite restaurant.

Christian and his team offer a fabulous variety of tasty treats to tantalise the taste buds, with my favourite being the prawn and calamari risotto. Generous serves, great, speedy service and a casual but funky environment make this THE place to eat before wandering down to Event Cinemas. I've been going back for a few months already and one thing I have noticed is the same smiley faces there. The staff retention is always a good sign that this is a good place to be and makes me feel special when I am recognised by the people who look after me there. We had only half an hour before our movie session time the other night but with no hesitation we were seated, our order taken, wine brought to the table and within ten minutes I was enjoying the freshest, most delicious seafood risotto around, surrounded by the sound of friendly chatter, laughter and Grooooovy sounds piping gently from above.
