Highly reccommended are the calamari starter and the duck confit main course. The fact that the restaurant has been packed each time we have been despite relatively high prices (c. $22 for a starter and $32 for a main) says it all about the great food produced in the kitchen. If only there were more imaginative top end restaurants like this on the southern Gold Coast! Posted 17 Jan 2009 by Carol Good consistent coffee. This is definately a place for this. Service is however, inconsistent for food. It is sometimes excellent with friendly staff who are professional and other times they lack training and confidence with the menu. The menu is quite large and it can be confusing to choose what to eat for breakfast. There is an obsession on this menu with fat toast to fill you up. An illusion that does not fool everyone. The lunch menu food is reasonable but can be pricey for what it is. That said, go here for coffee as so many places have no idea how to make coffee. Nice outlook as well.
