I gave this place 3 tries, and it never got any better! I LOVE mexican, but was very disappointed every time. Bad service, bad food.

i found The Aztec to be overpriced rubbish , i paid nearly $30 for what seemed to be bbq chicken from coles and burned rice , let alone burned fingers from touching my very very hot plate. My partners dish came out looking like slop from a canteen! The one star is for the staff who were great , other than that i would have not even given them 1 star. After dinner i actually wanted to warn the people talking about having dinner there outside , to go somewhere else.....

I used to go here all the time, but O.D'ed a bit on it. If you join the birthday club you get sent a free meal voucher. Also Two Up Tuesday (Buy 1 get one main free) and Terror Thursday, kids eat free. Anyway when I go there I always get the Shredded Beef Burrito, comes with rice, refried beans and sour cream, but I ask for extra sour cream on the side. I once tried the chicken burrito, but it was awful, the chicken was like processed and watery or something. Where as the shredded beef is so tasty and fresh tasting. You have to go up to the bar to get drinks and pay cash. Bit of a bummer if you haven't got any cash on you. There is a cash machine one street over though.

there are not many Mexican place around the coast which is a shame ive travled to Mexico before and the 'Vego' selections at Aztec are amazing! I take my girlfriend(she's a 'Vego') there once a month and we both always get the 'Vego' burrito. Well worth going down on a Tuesday and cause i believe its half price on selected meals too. but you must book:-)

We found the food to be average and expensive for what was dished up. Aztec certainly missed the mark. Expensive is not the word for this school camp food. I would not bother spending the money and if you want Mexican stay home and cook it you will be guaranteed a much more enjoyable evening...
