Fresh produce, great variety to choose from, efficient and friendly service, great atmosphere. Prices are not cheap, but we were happy to pay prices reflecting fresh ingredients utilised. Good specials also available. Meals arrived at the table quickly, as did beverages. Thanks for a great evening out. Posted 15 Mar 2009 by Busta Excellent quality food. This is the third time I have eaten at this restaurant twice for lunch which was excellent value, and this was the first time for an evening meal. While the restaurant was busy with a large birthday group the service was still good and the food delicious. I have to agree with Carol about the coffee as well. Well done. Just brekky to try now. One of the nicest places in Cooolangatta to have coffee as so many places burn it in the area. Wait staff are cheerful and friendly and the food is really nice and appropriately priced. Great outlook to the beach on a hot day a great place to visit. Posted 11 Jan 2009 by CliffD My wife and I recently had breakfast at Cecada's, the meal being very average, and the service appalling. We were not allowed to sit at the table of our choice, had a waiter change half way through our order, and to top it all, had a very embarassing episode when paying for our meal. The waiter was reprimanded in front of us (very unproffesional), and made to pay for a $3-50 error on the bill, after which we were told by the cashier that we should thank the waiter for this. Cecada could do with some lessons in public relations and appropriate management styles. We will definately not return.
