I agree - this humble little cafe is AMAZING!!!
I used to go here regularly about 8 years ago and I'm only just rediscovering it again. Absolutely wonderful for breakfast but be warned - it gets really busy so you may be left disappointed at not getting a table.
There are tables inside and out and it's such a lovely way to relax on the weekend looking out over the river. It's hard to believe Budds Beach is only metres from Surfers Paradise as it's so quiet and tranquil. Service is A+ city standard (they actually serve you promptly and they're friendly - other cafe's should take notes!) and the food is fabulous.
I honestly can't rave about this place enough. Get there people!!!

More than a "locals only" cafe tucked away on the relaxed, scenic riverfront of Budds Beach, Bumble's is a quaint cottage boasting oodles of character and is a requisite encounter one must experience to truly appreciate the wholesome quality of the Gold Coast.
The hospitality is second to none with real people who recognise your face and know your favourites. The setting is unique and quirky with pebbled walls, hanging chimes, bowls of fresh fruit as table centre pieces and a photo wall of random people, each with its own story. The food looks like a larger version of something you'd get from the restaurants of five star hotel chains and tastes like mum's home cooked secret recipes!
