Well Bumbles is exactly that. Great location opposite Budd's Beach, lovely cared for decor that is not run of the mill and good, tasty cafe food that is also that little bit different. Beautiful pine nut salad with eye fillet beef - one of the nicest salads I have ever had. Sat outside and the breeze was beautiful, would love to explore the inside too as so pretty and beautifully decorated. Will definitely be back ! Posted 09 Jan 2011 by David41 As soon as we walked into Brumble's this morning we were immediately greeted to a warm smiling face asking if we would like a table for breakfast. Our whole experience at Brumble's was absolutely amazing from the wonderful hospitality, the atmosphere and character and the most amazing breakfast we have had the pleasure of eating. We have searched high and low on the Gold Coast to find a good breakfast out but the food at Brumbles was not just good it was amazing, fresh, hearty serving, tasty and most appealing to the eye and stomach. If you think the food looks good in the pictures, well it's even better when it is placed on the table in front of you Our thanks and gratitude to the management and staff of Brumble's for this morning's wonderful breakfast. A five star rating to you all just doesn't seem enough. Thank you. Posted 08 Oct 2010 by m-joncheff I was taken to Bumble's Cafe last night for my Birthday surprise dinner, I wasn't in the best of moods having to work that day, but once we walked in to this little gorgeous restaurant I could only be happy. The staff was really welcoming and the menu was exceptional, I had Coffin Bay Oysters with lime and a vegetable lasagne which was amazing, and I have a many lasagnes in my time. The music playing was great and really gave a unique atmosphere we, everything was beautiful I felt like proposing to my fiancé even though we are already engaged. The other guests seemed to be really enjoying themselves as well and we met the owner, she was lovely and offered us to try some of her own French chocolate truffles’... what a treat. To top it all off once we were ready to leave the waitress had told us the owner has requested that our bill would be discounted 20% off, just because she had a good time herself. I was really chuffed and ended up have a great birthday thanks to Bumbles Cafe. Best Place I have eaten on the Gold Coast Posted 02 May 2010 by dhg What a rip off! Such a shame as this is a lovely place with friendly service. But how can they offer Breakfast of "Eggs with Tomatoes" and then only serve HALF a tomato, or "Avocado Corn Cakes" with just ONE corn cake. This is wholly inaccurate and misleading description. I have eaten here for lunch several times and thought the restaurant lovely, but breakfast is just a RIP OFF!
