Unfortunately I chose a dish that I didn't like that much, but I was trying a dish that I had never tried before and obviously it's something that's just not for me. There was another large group at the restaurant as well as other diners but we did not feel neglected at all - as I said the service was top notch. Posted 27 Apr 2011 by BADBRETT This is definately a five star restaurant. The menu is extensive and includes gluten free and vegetarian dishes. We had a company dinner there and there were 20 of us all ordering from the menu. The food came out in reasonable time and every meal was faultless. The standout dish of the night was without doubt the "PORK KNUCKLE" it was cooked to perfection and was as good as the one I tried in Germany. It was succulent, juicy and with a crispy skin it was perfect. Service was efficient and friendly and at the end of the night the owner came to the table to make sure everyone was happy, that hasn't happened to me for many years. Posted 29 Nov 2008 by tamjohn the food is usually quite nice - when the restaurant it open. it seems to be closed more than it's open so it's pot luck when you want to go there.
