Great position and lovely place to have a few beers the food however was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Given they were busy but that is no excuse to send out partially cooked food that looked nice on the plate but tasted absolutely disgusting. We ordered calamari and also nachos (that is basically all we could order as if we ordered anything off the grill there was a 1 hour wait) the nachos were cold in the middle and the chips with the calamari were oil soaked and soggy. Ill go back for a drink but never again will i eat there. Less then average.

Yes, it is a pub and it is right on the foreshore and the view is quite special. Warmer months suit this venue better as patrons can sit outdoors, thus avoiding sometimes too loud gigs in the main room. Yet, having a coffee on the morning, in full sun, even in winter, is what it's all about. Good cocktails and snacks. Is the restaurant still running?

This is the main pub in Byron and it's right opposite the main beach in Byron. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the brasserie serves well priced pub food.
It's also kid friendly and it's a lovely spot to soak up the sun on one of the outside tables. They also have live entertainment most weekend nights.
