What a great addition to the Robina area. Fantastic food, great prices and service was very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely fantastic food! This is my current favourite restaurant, and I've been going at least once per week for the last month or so... It's one of those places where you can order randomly off the menu, and whatever dish you get is guaranteed to be delicious! If I had to fault it, it would be on ambience, as others have said, it's close to the carpark, but the wait staff are very good, and the pricing of the food more than makes up for that. Taboon cake is indescribable - get down there and try some!

Went here for dinner last night on the recommendation of a friend. I'm so glad I went, it was great. The food was really fresh and tasty. I had an entree and main for only $18.50!! What value and what flavour!! Entree for me was a spicey lamb pasty and main was a lovely fresh Morrocan chicken salad, served with Pita bread on the side. Some other patrons were having the pizza from the Tabbon oven. They looked and smelled so good that I'm planning on going back soon to try them. Friendly and efficient service. Plenty of parking. Open for lunch and dinner, however they do close quite early- 8.00pm Mon to Thurs and 9.00pm Fri and Sat. Closed Sundays.

We went here for dinner and at first we were a bit reluctant as the alfresco seating is right near the carpark (not so pleasant when cars parking shine their headlights in your eyes.) I'm glad we tried it though because it is now one of our favourites! We ordered Sumbusak's (pastry with fillings) with cheese and lamb filling for starters (a steal at $4 - $5 ea) with the nightly special of falafal pizza $13.50 for main. The waitress was really nice and regularly checked on everything and although it's not a restaurant per se - it's more like a cafe, the food is amazing and did I mention cheap?! It only cost $35 for two entree's, main and desert for two of us.

If you like Middle Eastern food, you'll love Taboon - the food is fresh, fast and healthy, with grilled meats and nice salads, good dips, and generous sized servings. It's semi-al fresco, with the centrepiece of the restaurant the traditional stone oven. Because much of the food is baked or grilled, it is very low in fat and light on the palate. Its prices are very reasonable and it's BYO so a night out won't break the bank.
