The last time I went will be the last time for me and my family. My wife's seafood pasta had a long hair in it and when we inquired about it the waitress seemed uninterested. So we changed the order to a steak, to be well done. When the steak came out she tried to say the hair was from mussels, like we were fools that cant distinguish between human and mussel hair. The steaks was not cooked well done, the potatoes seems to come from a package, no flavour to the food and the oysters that came out were so funky that they made me sick. 6 months before I had the hot seafood platter, it was nice but they charged me $5 to substitute the natual oysters for mornay oysters, so $5 for some cheese. They seem to have really dropped the ball and I am never going back. Posted 11 Feb 2009 by willl69 Great food, fast service, friendly staff, child friendly, clean setting. I regularly drive from brisbane to broadbeach just to go to this restaurant. If you like seafood and are in the Broadbeach area, you are doing yourself a massive disservice if you do not try Bugzies.
