My girlfriend and I made the trek to Nerang based on these reviews and
were not disappointed. The pasta was fresh, the sauce nice and
vibrant. The only criticism is that is seemed a tad under-seasoned and
lacked a little olive oil. A little garnish on the pasta wouldn't go astray
either, but hey, that's just nit picking. The cassata was superb....food
to see it on a menu and done well. Will definitely be back with friends,
any place that makes that kind of effort deserves repeat business.

This is a beautifully humble restaurant which my husband and i used to visit as newlyweds. We recently revisited with our two young children (2 and 3.5) and it was fantastic! The kids made a mess, and it wasn't too much trouble and the food was just beautiful. We'll definately go back - we recommend the tortellini!

A great little restaurant with very yummy food. I usually order an entree size pasta, and have trouble finishing it all because it's such a generous portion. Nice atmosphere, it's not super flashy to look at but they've done a good decorating job with the building they've got to work with. Lovely people, great service.

Not all that happy with the place, I read the reviews here and expected alot more...
When we walked in the place its a bit dark and dingy and had a real funny smell to it, once you sat there for a while you got used to it.
We ordered a garlic focaccia - Fettuccine Carbonarra and a Large Meatlovers (with bbq sauce)
The Fettuccine Carbonarra had a real weird texture to the sauce but i have to say the pasta was homemade and very nice.
The garlic focaccia overall was good except was a touch dry on top and could have used a touch more garlic (Personal preference maybe)
The Pizza well it was suposed to have bbq sauce i could barely see any and it still had a tomato base, not that impressed.

This restaurant is in a hideaway location - off Station street you can drive down the driveway and the restaurant is tucked underneath the shops facing onto Station st.
They have managed to turn a concrete 'bunker' into a cosy, casual restaurant. They've painted the concrete walls and added some simple decorating touches. We ordered lasagne and ravioli bolognese entree sizes which were $16.50 each. The pasta dishes are all home made. We also ordered garlic bread $5.50 but as they didn't have any left they offered us garlic pizza bread as a replacement.
Good place if you live in the area and want a casual Italian restaurant without having to drive to Surfers etc.
