Maybe there has been a change of staff but my family & I have dined here three times recently & found the meals to be excellent No complaints about the staff either. We are intending to book a table for 20 people so will add another review later

Lost City Lunch Special was always good value but have only been once for night time entertainment, was ordinary and nothing special. The owner also owns Boathouse and Warehouse - Warehouse is convenient to the locals and that is all, its got a reputation as a 'tradie' cater pub and offers soft porn for the fellas regularly - the nightclub only gathers 8 locals otherwise - its a problem - there are thousands of young mums in the area who would like a night out that isnt catered to MEN...Such a waste and getting a bad name in the area.

I recently went to the Lost City to try out there $10.00 lunches and much to my surprise, $10.00 for the meal I got was rediculous. The wait staff are so rude and especially the blonde lady with short hair who I'm guessing is the manager. She never has a smile on her face and when she does it isn't genuine, she was very rude and made us feel very unwelcome. The owner should definitely take a good look at who he hires because obviously, he's gone wrong somewhere. The Food wasn't even half as good as the old choice takeaway that used to be there but sadly got closed down. What a great loss! Haven't had good fish & chips like that in quite a few years! The beer battered fish was disgusting and there was three times as much batter than actual fish. Both my friend and I chose to leave and head to Mc Donalds instead. To the owner, fire your staff and yourself. The food is bad, the theme hasn't reached its potential, you're over priced...and as for the nightclub, mate, where are you going with this idea?? A family restaurant with an unclassy pub and club attatched? Lost some points there!!! I gave this place a one star rating and it doesn't even deserve that. Sorry guys, but this place is just as bad as the Boathouse Tavern.

This LOST CITY Joint, and that description is being very generous, would have to be the WORST Pub, Resturant, (loosely put) that we have ever been to. We were there (5 kids ,2 babies in high chairs and 10 adults, on boxing day for our Xmas lunch, we were made to feel we weren't welcome ,very, very rude staff, empty bottles thrown into a bin right behind us many times during our lunch. The older blonde women that was serving us was extremly rude, removing highchairs before we were even finished with them, scurrering under the table (like a rat) while we were still eating. For the cost of the food it was rubbish, not even worth a star rating.I have worked in resturants for over 25 years, so I do know about good service and food, The Lost city has got neither, a rare get together with family was ruined by this "JOINT"

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but after trying this place a third time and paying $15 for an"ultimate works burger" that you could buy in any take away shop for 6 or 7 and a chicken satay pizza complete with pieces of chicken bone I will be avoiding the place like the plague.Way over priced and way below par.
