The little outdoor grassy area was fabulous for the older girls to run around in. The food wasnt all that great.. I have heard people rave about it so I had high expectations, however personally I wouldnt reccommend it and I dont think I would go there again based on the prices being above average... HOWEVER... the meals are huge.. and by huge I mean.. you cant finish it huge!! Neither myself or my partner could finish our meals.... He had a steak and ribs and didn't expect so much ribs! The chicken meal was also good but next time definately ordering ribs!!!! Pricing was prob a couple of dollars more than what you'd pay for a meal at any other restaurant...but it was worth it....great place to go for something different. Posted 19 Jun 2008 by Pyromac We ate at Mike's for the first time last night. We found the restaurant itself to be tired & old. The staff were pleasant enough but inattentive. I thought I was going to die of thirst. The meals are expensive as are the drinks, especially when you consider the venue & lousy service but very good quality. I had the 1KG ribs at $36.00 & my wife had the petite steak at $26.00. The ribs are sensational & the steak was very good also. It's a shame the venue is a dump. Have been a fan of Mike's for years. Have to go at least once a month to get my fix. Take your man he will thank you for it. They also have a great cheap lunch menu if you find it too pricey at dinner. Worth the money though.
