How incredibly unfortunate an experience this restaurant turned out to be. We arranged a group function for a medium sized group of workmates. We booked well in ahead and eagerly anticipated the service and food that we came to expect from it's previous location in Robina Town Centre. We arrived early and were nearly run down by a young girl in a hatchback tearing through the car park. I'm a young guy and even I think that it was dangerous. We had no idea that she would turn out to be our waitress and the curse of our night.... Don't get me wrong, the food is fine. Good even. But it's hard to enjoy good food when the service and overall experience is so poor. Firstly we were seated in two tables, splitting our group up. We weren't a large group and upon trying to confirm that our request to be all seated together, we were rudely told that we should have booked earlier (6 weeks obviously wasn't enough). Giving up on sitting together, our meals were ordered and we were continually neglected for any form of drinks service after the 1st. Nothing! Meals arrived 20 mins apart for the two tables..Seated separately was a let down, but one group finishing when the rest of us were still waiting was incredibly annoying (considering I was in the second group ;). All in all - I'm sure that there are people that have had fantastic experi

My favourite restaurant on the GC by far. It does get full and early bookings are required. But well worth it. The staff couldn't do enough for us when we've been. The rib sauce is beautiful, the servings are more than generous. Highly recommend Mikes.

This is by far my favourite restaraunt on the coast! I cant not say enough about Mike's! My only problem is getting a booking as they are always so busy... My partner and I love their ribs and especially the cheddermelt sauce. If we are hungry we will go the best of both worlds meal with ribs and steak. Or if we are not so hungry we will share a 1kg rib meal! Everyone we have taken here from our friends and family have been impressed!

Great sized meals, prices are a little above average but the meals are very tasty and you get plenty for your money. Only thing lacking is a pre-dinner bar area. My partner and I got there a little early so thought we might have a 'drink at the bar' turns out there wasn't one, so we sat down on a sofa in the entry way where they brought us our beers (it wasn't very stylish). Other than that very pleased with the overall experience.

Im not completely fussed on Mikes.. the service was okay - it was squashy having a baby with the pram. The little outdoor grassy area was fabulous for the older girls to run around in. The food wasnt all that great.. I have heard people rave about it so I had high expectations, however personally I wouldnt reccommend it and I dont think I would go there again based on the prices being above average... HOWEVER... the meals are huge.. and by huge I mean.. you cant finish it huge!!
