Delicious & affordable meals, friendly service, wonderful buzzing atmosphere. Order the hotcakes for breakfast....DO IT! The only negative I have been able to find is that I always somehow end up seated at the only table without seasonings & condiments on it. The staff are always happy to bring some though. Bring your friends, bring your family, leave a tip...they do such a good job Posted 24 Mar 2009 by CJ This cafe has a great vibe, the staff were very friendly and aware, the food was delicious and the selection was excellent, even had plunger coffee. Prices are also reasonable. Probably as many tables on the pavement as inside, cool breezes and nice ambienece. Well worth a visit any time for a snack or coffee. It's really a good little "stroll down" for a late start on a weekend...they serve an all day breakfast and the choices are FANTASTIC...the service is incredibly good, you won't wait very long for your food...once in the dozen or so times we've been there, we waited a long time for our drinks...and I'd have to say drink service, generally, could improve but that's about it...right at the bottom of James Street you can stroll around the book stores and exchanges...really nice "village feel" to this one.
