This place was wonderful for my friend's birthday as she loves all things Japanese. Very authentic dining, the sashimi was beautifully fresh and the shabu shabu menu was fun for everyone involved. Our table of 10 had a bill of $650 so it worked out to be about $60-$65 each. Definitely a place to go again!

Nice restaurant. Authentic food. I had Sapporo course the other day. It was very satisfying. My husband had sashimi which was fresh.

Had a great night at this nice little Japanese place. As a previous reviewer has said, the sashimi was second to none. It had me thinking 'why don't we eat raw fish all the time?' We had the shabu shabu and sukiyaki for the main (a big hot bowl of broth and soy sauce mix & raw egg respectivley - that you dip your own veges and meat into). Needless to say, it's heaps of fun, you can make a big mess and if the food tastes yuk, it's your fault. Although it would be pretty hard to mess it up as all the food was fresh and the end result was delicious. An extra star for the fun factor. Shabu shabu was around $30 per person.

Tidy japanese in Broadbeach. Nice themed restaurant where you take off your shoes and sit at short tables. The sashimi was very good but the beans could have used a bit more salt. I would recommend the steak which was very tender. Beer and japanese food goes well together, so it's hard to not get carried away downing a few Asahi beers which can bump your bill up. Japanese is always good to share between friends and even your mates who haven't tried it yet.
