Went for dinner on a rainy Saturday night - had the roast duck. Food was fine but service not the best. Had to remind young waiters to bring prawn crackers we'd ordered, and dessert menu never arrived.

We visited mid Dec 07 for mid week lunch. What a disappointment! Dirty tables - food smeared over the windows & a lone trolley that kept circling with the same few cold plates of limp calamari tentacles. Chipped & dirty tea-cups & lukewarm tea. Told we had to order from the menu, most of our choices were unavailable & cold when they arrived (after waiting ages for the waiter to 'check with the kitchen'!) Service was really slow with the owner trying to coerce us to order spring rolls & dim sims. Had to ask 7 times for some sauce of ANY kind to go with our 'yum cha' Not one smile from anyone the whole time we were there. Worst meal we've had in ages. Waste of time & good money. Be warned!

Shopping Mall restaurants don't generally inspire me to recommend them. A friend took a group of us along to this treasure of a place for yum cha - it was one of those delightful occasions when you go along not expecting anything out of the ordinary and come away knowing that it will remain a firm favourite. Yes - it can get noisy and crowded during peak times but this is a sign of its popularity. Quick turnover, reasonably priced, fresh and delicious yum cha.

This place is the best yum cha on the coast. It gets very busy and noisy on weekends so you may have to wait a bit if you don't book. It's great when you're hungover on a Sunday morning. Fun to go to with a group of people and very family friendly.
