Previous 5 Listings Posted 22 May 2008 by rachel_56 I have to disagree with the above post, I have been to this restaurant twice for friends birthdays , and i simply donnot understand how they are still in business its just soo crap i cannot think of one thing i like about it. Its in such a beautifulbuilding with all the glass windows and they ahve ruined it and made it look alike an RSL at best. The serive is okay , the food OMG its cheap cuts , cooked poorly and tasteless , yes they stack on the fries/mash but seriously its not enjoyable. I just dont understand the hype over this place . Posted 28 Aug 2007 by Sara This restaurant is a Gold Coast institution. It has been here forever and still run and owned by the same Greek man for over 20 years. My family have been coming here for almost that long aswell. Atmosphere: While the decor has been described as a bit tacky with fake plants everywhere and fairy lights out the front, i think it makes the place eccentric and loveable. Food: Free toasted Garlic Turkish bread is served the minute you sit down. Be warned though, don't eat too much because the meals are HUGE and all come with fries and salad or veg.
