This food was great. The only down side was that we visited at lunchtime and it was extremely quiet and the front of house himself wasn't sure if the place was open. However, we were not disappointed and the food was delightful. We shall visit again for a dinner service.

I have dined here before but after my experience on the first weekend of August will no longer patronise this establishment. Our 'banquet' chef's platter consisted of 2 very small samosas, 4 hard chickpea fritters, a 'tandoori' chicken wing complete with 7 red feathers and a wizened thigh. The lamb rogan josh was fine, the bowl of rice served with it over-microwaved (yes, I saw it go in & out) & we had to wait another 10 minutes for the beef korma which was from a cut of beef I could not identify - some sort of 'flap' though. The 'banquet' was served to us without the raita, pickles, naan bread & pappadums advertised. The waitress didn't even notice or care about the missing items - when we brought it to her attention she spoke with the owner but even then, the food was still not forthcoming. When we went to leave & I queried paying for things we had not received she advised she didn't have the authorisation to 'adjust' our bill for the missing items but wandered off to see the owner. She returned & said we could have $2 deducted! The owner then came out and agressively snarled that he was 'one chef down in the kitchen tonight' and a $2 deduction was what the missing dishes would cost him as everyone got pappadums, raita & pickles for free normally! What a crock! Bad service, P.R., food & as a woman I was offended & disgusted by the owners very rude, loud & nasty attitude.

Honestly this is the best place to go when you do not feel like cooking or if you have a party. The owner is a honest man who hates to see his food wasted. The food is just superb. I prefer to start with a cheese naan and the balti lamb with a garlic or plain naan for the mains and if your still hungry they have beautiful freshly made gulab jamin. The service from the girls there is amazing, they are friendly and very well mannered. i remember this place last year how it was old but now it has changed with the new wallpapers and desk. Like anyplace, sometimes it is busy and you have to except that it does take a little more time but is worth it. I recommend going and trying it for urself.

Ordered Take Away as we do when we cannot be bothered driving into town for indian. On time, hot and tasty. The only downside being no tandoor oven for th naan bread or tandoori chicken. In all good value and you shouldn't be dissapointed.

The best Indian food I have ever eaten. The location is not the greatest, the premises are not five star but the food is amazing. We enjoy take out from here on a weekly basis. Well Done.
