Bought supposedly farmed Barramundi fillets and the fillets tasted of metallic taste, telephoned them and the person I spoke to was not interested at all...what a waste of money...go somewhere esle even Woolworths is better

In response to the comment by Connected, It's obvious you are a competitor. I've eaten from Peters Fish Market for eva and it's nothing like you described at all. BTW, i selected my own fish from the ice, they cooked it, it couldn't be better, not dry, perfect fish, as where the chips and all my sides... i've also taken fish home and cooked, it was fresh and perfect, BTW, i chose my fish from the ice, (and im not a a tourist -) the fish i wanted, it wasn't handed to me by someone.. that makes the experience even better for me.. I've been to other places, and peters by far is great value, especially when you compare them to their major competitors.

Great for a laid back Cheapie outdoor, budget beating, take you own extras,, "fish and chips deal" Its a temporary portable shed type operation. Choose the daily fish of the day deal for about $8. Nothing else!! Eat outside at Basic BBQ tables, some with a water view, but the perk is you can take all the extras like salads, tea coffee, drinks, mayo ,seafood sauce, wine or booze. No prob! DONT buy the wet fish,or seafood, prawns, oysters from the chilled display, thats for the tourists, its extrodinarialy expensive. If you want prawns or oysters, get them from Coles or Woolworths, and take them with you and munch on them at you table while waiting for your basic fish and chips of the day orde

It doesn't quite have the range that Charis does but it's much easier to get to carpark-wise on a weekend. You bag up your own fresh seafood unlike most places which is great as you can choose exactly what you want. If you want to sit outside you can have fish and chips cooked there but there's not much of a view. The oysters are great value.
