Masterful Dishes; BEST Boutique restaurant in Queensland
My partner and I booked in the new year for our Anniversary; We
noticed the media in the local paper highlighting the new A La Carte
menu which is focused around different selections of Australia's finest
Beef!
I started with the Candied Vine Ripened tomato in Vanilla Olive Oil and
Wasabi Ice Cream; then moved onto the Poached Black Angus Beef
Tenderloin with seasonal baby vegetables and Coriander Pesto.
If this wasn't enough I finished my divine culinary experience with the
signature Vanilla Creme Brulee which I DID NOT SHARE with my
partner.
It was an amazing dining experience which started with cocktails in
the wine lounge; I don't know why there are so many bad comments
about this restaurant?
Its the BEST restaurant the GOLD COAST has to offer.
And my partner and I have booked his 42nd Birthday Party there with
40 of our closest friends; The Chef and Owner sat down with us and
customized our entire dinner menu to suit my husbands love for beer
we have customized a 6 course degustation menu with a different
beer which accompanies each dish!
This restaurant is rare and unique and is the only restaurant that
would take the time to sit down with us and discuss a customized
space and menu!

This is the worst service I have experienced in a long time. The owner/chef Meyjitte Boughenout is extremely rude. It is no wonder that this restaurant has had to resort to advertising cheap deals to get customers in. When will businesses learn that in this current economic climate you will only survive with good old fashioned customer service.

TOOK THREE FRIENDS TO SPECIAL NIGHT OUT BEFORE READING THE
GUIDE BLOG. BIG MISTAKE. DONT KNOW HOW YOU CALL IT A
RESTURANT. WE (4) ORDERED STEAK AND RECEIVED THIN TOUGH SO
CALLED MEAT. WE RAISED OUR CONCERNS WITH THE OWNER /CHIEF
AND HE OFFERED ASHARPER KNIFE. NEVER AGAIN

Like Honest & Fair I went there using a promotion & my wife never
stopped cringing all night due to the vibes coming from the staff &
management. They had advertised a deal as 350 gram steaks & if you
had put both together I sincerely doubt it would make the weight. A 350
gram steak is a good size piece of steak & I would expect a reasonable
amount of vegetable to go with it. Very stingy indeed both myself & wife
who is an extremely small eater left hungry. The decor was good, The
furniture looked good but the seats are definitely not for anyone beyond
a size 10 if you want comfort. The wine selection was excellent but not
only did they want to make their money on the food but the wine was up
there as well. I have been to others under such deals & now frequent
them at full price but my money or someone else I will not be back.
Food was OK but a good steak & mash is a good steak & mash.

I can go on and on about my experience but one main comment:
They offer vouchers but look down on people who uses them. The food may taste good if you are willing to pay full price. They serve differently to people who dresses well or those who spends more than $250 on a bill. How arrogant!
