Timmy 1, I can only reiterate your sentiments. The good thing about this place is that its a central located and its very easy to get a parking spot. However, we took our family about two weeks ago and we ordered the Mongolian beef, and the meat came out raw, fatty and chewy - so bad in fact that we had to send it back... For something that I was looking foward to, I was really disappointed. Can't say that we'll ever being going back... :(

The restaurant is know called Benowa Hot Wok.... New management... We love it. Great local family restaurant with plenty of dishes to suit all. We have taken family and friends to a number of local Chinese but keep coming back to this one. The dishes are full of fresh vegetables and good size portions. The flavours are always authentic and fresh. Give it a go !!!!!

This suburban restaurant is located on the outside of Benowa Gardens shopping centre and was busy on the night with people coming in and out for takeaways. The restaurant itself wasn’t very busy though. In an attempt to appeal to more people they’ve added Indian dishes to the menu along with all the main Chinese dishes. The food is pretty average and some dishes were excessively oily with fatty bits of meat used. It was also frustrating when the wait staff were chatting to each other and we had to use both arms to wave them over after several failed attempts to get their attention. There’s plenty of parking out front.
