The triangle shaped building lit up with lights looked tacky, not to mention the fake lit up palm tree out on the back deck but the food was reasonably priced. $17 for parmagiana with chips and salad or mash and vegetables and $16 for a steak sandwich. The serving sizes were large. The dinning area though is tiny and given that it was a cold night, there were no spare seats inside when we arrived. Good value though but they need more dining space. Friendly and very fast service! Our galic bread was on our table within 5 minutes of ordering and they clear away the plates quickly. One of the better pubs Posted 30 Mar 2008 by Pyromac The food is pretty good & has an asian influence with its salads & noodle dishes. It's priced competitively & walks all over the Dog & Parrot. They have a nice outside dining area on a lake & a large kids play area, that sees this pub very busy with local families every Friday night. The only downside is the staff, the female bar staff are just miserable & have zero personalities.
