After spending the past 48 hrs moving house I needed a steak chips and salad and it seemed Robina Tavern was our new local. In a time when I could of eatin the arse of a low flying duck it was quite easily one of the worst steaks of my life. I got the 500gm whatever it was. Im always a bit wary of anywhere that charges for its sauces and I should of followed my instincts. The girl taking meals orders was very rude and uninterested and the prices are expensive. Will now go to my old local the Merrimac Tav where I've never had a bad meal. POW!

First time I have been here in a very long time. Great local & the pizzas we ordered were yummy. The prices are a little high though for a local tavern. Certainly was a buzz of activity.

Having lived in Robina for two years and Gold Coast for five-today was my first trip to Robina Tavern. A friend and I were "doing lunch" and I mentioned the Tavern as a place I'd like to visit. Colourful, garish foyer but a staff member greeted us with a lovely smile and hello as she was walking by. At 12 noon on a weekday we quickly found a table inside overlooking the water. As the lunch time went on the place filled, so I think the Robina Tavern is a well-kept secret! We ordered from the $10 menu - steak, chips and salad for me and crispy chicken in plum sauce and rice with salad for my friend. My meal was delicious - steak tender and chargrilled, lovely dressing on the salad and a very tasty dianne sauce. My friend said her meal was tasty but we didn't expect the chicken to be on the bone, thus making it a fiddly and less filling meal than expected. My friend had coffee, and cheesecake for dessert, which looked amazing with an individual cheesecake, cream, a strawberry and strawberry coulis on the plate. Staff were friendly and warm (thanks Lisa!) and meals came to our table promptly. Drinks are cheap, ambience casual, could be noisy with a weekend crowd. Outside area looked inviting and a nice place to be on a a sunny day. Childrens playground provided outside as well.

We have been to Robina Tavern many times and each time the food and service has been outstanding, great place to have a quick pub meal, lovely steak and great service, what more could you want.

I enjoyed my dinner here. I ordered a steak which was perfectly cooked, tasty and tender. At $23 it's not the cheapest steak I've had at a tavern, but it was good so I was happy. Now that the weather is getting a bit cooler no one was sitting on the verandah area, which made the inside seating a bit busy. But I guess it just goes to show that it's a popular local spot to eat at. The service was speedy. Plenty of parking.
