I found the restaurant appealing although having the other restaurants so close can put you off a little, just forget about it and enjoy the view. The service was average to good but was pleasant. The food was quite good, tasty and generous. We enjoyed our evening, and probably will return in the warmer season. Posted 02 Sep 2007 by don77 I have also dined at the nile and i found it to be a very enjoyable night. Our meals arrived in 20 minutes on a very busy night. Food was lovely and service was great. My partner cant eat many foods due to allergies and the chef was happy to help us with alternitive meal choices for us. I will be definitly coming back. At first it looked fun, the waitress happily greeted us and there was a belly dancer entertaining when we arrived. Then it went pearshaped. Because it's a large open area with several restaurants nearby it was cold (being Winter) so I asked for the heat lamp to be turned on. It took my 3 attempts with 3 different waiters to get this to happen and then they dragged the whole thing over so that it was right next to my chair. Then it took at least 40 minutes of waiting and we asked the waitress how long it would be until we got our entrees. She never returned. After another 10 minute wait we left.
