The meals were not to good I ordered a Steak mediun rearmit came out mediun to well, After complaining to the very young waitress nothing else was said not even a sorry. We spent well over $800 between the group for poor quality food & service and then were told at #pm we had to go as the staff needs to go home to shower for the next shift, Posted 03 Sep 2010 by Janet_67 Have been going to Pancho's since I was a little girl 30 odd years ago! Ok wait staff may not be 'experienced' but what do you expect for the price?? We always have a drink in the bar to start and love the big open fire - we also love the margerita's and can't believe how cheap they - and the rest of the drinks are. My husband thinks the steak is to die for and I love the pancho's delight. This place is an institution on the Gold coast and we highly recommend it. We were greeted to the chorus of 'this is a cash only restaurant' by clearly inexperienced staff. Seated in what can only be described as an extremely noisy unwelcoming food hall, after waiting 45 minutes and still not being asked for our order I thought it may be time to try else where. As I say, Have no idea how good or bad the food is, but rest assured you always appreciate food a lot more when you are really hungry, and by the time you get served here, you will be. shame!
