Went with my partner and we were both disgusted with the food and service by the owner. Had the prawn rolls with rice paper for entree and the prawns were absolutely terrible. They were old and when we ate them the prawns were mushy and flavourless to say the least. Also to mention the "fresh" mint was chewy and was like eating a piece of cardboard.
For one of the mains we had the curry chicken. Definitely needed more flavour and the chicken was full of fat and hadn't been trimmed at all before they cooked it. For the other main we had the beef with vegetables. The meat was totally flavourless and also was mushy.
To top the disastrous evening off I told the owner all of the above. She didn't even give any apologies or offer a discount, highly rude. The most concern about the experience is the freshness and quality of the food there. It took hours for our stomachs to settle down after eating here and we drank water all night due to the horrible feeling of dehydration in our mouths.

check your receipt... we had $20.00 added to our bill as 'cash out' but were not advised of this and were not given the cash. We noticed when we got home... hubby went back and demanded the cash, which they returned to him and said they have a 'new machine', and tried to blame the new technology. Bull sh*t. It's a clever little scam.

I am going here frequently at the moment - I just love the Pork Spring Rolls which are the best on the Gold Coast. Steamed Dim Sims are really good also. I have tried many of the dishes, and have not been disappointed yet. It is fully licensed but the prices are reasonable. Usually easy to park nearby on-street and the service is friendly and efficient.

The only reason anyone would not have enjoyed a meal at saigon palace
is probably because they were fed with a golden spoon as a child. In
saying this, when your a happy, generous and content with life
everything you do in life you enjoy. Only a sour person would dislike the
cuisine at Saigon palace. We ordered 6 mains between 5 of us and every
dish was incredible and full flavored. Looking forward to becoming a
regular!
