First, I would recommend taking as many friends along with you as possible. I only went with my husband, but I'm sure the experience would be enhanced by some buddies. The food was fresh, the service fantastic, and the "show" vas very enjoyable. A little pricey, but still a great evening out.

Well what to say about this restaurant! Benihana is the best teppanyaki feed around. Its not cheap, but well worth it. Get a group of friends or family together and experience the food and atmosphere that is true teppanyaki. I generally spend around $120 for food & drinks for my girlfriend and I and we never leave there wanting any more. Top notch restaurant.

If you've never experienced teppanyaki then you’ll love this place as Benihana is one of the best (if not the best) on the coast. This place is a great place to go with a group of people as diners sit around the teppanyaki grill while a chef entertains you by performing tricks with his cooking utensils. The chef ends up getting you to join in by catching food in your mouth or trying to catch the food he’s rapidly chopping up on your plate. This place is noisy but is heaps of fun but beware of too much sake, it’s potent!
