The staff were good with arranging tables/ chairs for a pram, and quick to take our order recognising speed needed when dining with children. We ordered a pizza, pumpkin ravioi, salad and "worms" (spaghetti) for our daughter. The ravioli was fabulous- the best pesto I have had in a long time. Pizza good, salad fresh, and worms worked a treat for a hungry girl. Only suggestion would be, they miss opportunities to sell additional beverages/ dessert, by not asking. Probably would have made some more money this way. For a place I ate in years ago as a child, they are still doing a great job in a great setting Posted 30 Jun 2008 by FamilyMan I remember eating at this place almost 12 years ago and finally ate there again last week and nothing had changed. The place seemed to be full of locals and a few tourists as well and was totally pumping with the wait staff just managing to keep up. We got our pizza's and pastas pretty quickly considering how crowded the place. The food was great. Just really good flavour and obviously fresh ingrediants which is pretty easy when you are as busy as this place. The pizza's aren't really gourmet but just so good with heaps of flavour. It seems like a pretty good place for families as well so I recommend you give it a go if in the area. Posted 28 Apr 2008 by gem i am always eating here - its so delicious! the pastas are soo good and really filling. the pizzas are good to, me and my friends often share one and we get halves, quarters or thirds so we can all chose our own. the meals are reasonably priced - you pay for what you get. good kids food too, i really really recommend it!! Posted 23 Apr 2008 by LindaLove I visited the Earth and Sea Restaurant whilst I was visiting the Gold Coast recently. The food was delicious and I have never tasted a better pizza in my life! Unlike the other two comments above who obviously have no appreciation for beautiful pizza, mine was delicious. I have never had a pizza that is on a wholemeal base and that is what makes it so tasty as well as healthy. The pizzas were cleary made with a lot of love. They also make pizzas with a gluten free base and gluten free pasta which is very rare. As for the service, it was fantastic! All of the staff were extremely friendly, funny and very down to earth and they are also very easy on the eye. Everything was great! Family fun Posted 23 Mar 2008 by Dave My wife, her mother, ate there the 7 days ago. The service was very poor. Food too along a time to arrive they were not busy. They didn't even ask if they want coffee or desert, just cleared the table. The service was so poor They brought this to the attention of the owner. They were apologetic and was grateful for bring it to there attention. We have rated them with 2 stars because they did actually get something to eat! A miracle!
