The ultimate place for parents to just dump their kids for 2 hours. You couldnt pay me to go back. Throw Robina Tavern in the same boat too!!! Posted 19 Dec 2011 by Eat a lot We will never eat there again. 2 years ago we would eat there every second week but the service and food went downhill about 12 months ago. Thought I would give it one more chance. Big mistake!!!! We eat out 2-3 times a week so have a rough idea what o.k. food taste like. Even if the food is just o.k. I normally dont say anything as i do realize that everyone has different taste and I also dont like making a fuss. I will leave it at that. There is much more but I have already wasted 1 hour of my time eating there tonight so I am not wasting anymore time on it. Posted 03 Nov 2010 by gcfoodfamily We love the D&P! To be fair, when we started going the staff were pretty rude and unaccommodating - but we broke them down lol - and now they are positively FAB :) Shouldn't have to I know, but it's our local - so we made the effort. Menu changes are good - food is yummy - extras to keep the kids entertained are fab (dvd player, playstation room etc) ... we enjoy coming here at least once a week and are never disappointed.... The male bar staff in the general bar are happy to talk amongst themselves, no matter how long you stand there waiting. Who ever buys this place needs to put a broom right through the joint and start again. Posted 19 Feb 2010 by Robbo10 Without doubt, this place has the rudest staff I have ever encountered ANYWHERE! The food is okay,but a bit pricey for the quality, but it is the staff, particularly the young female bar staff who absolutely ruin any positive atmosphere this place might have. They are lazy, slow to serve and arrogant and rude when question about anything.I have never complained about a place before, but avoid this pub at all costs - at least until they get a manager who can organise decent, friendly, welcoming staff.
