The other night my partner and I went for a drive to decide what was for dinner. It was a rainy night and we felt like italian so we stopped in for dinner! We were impressed with the friendly staff and warm feel to the restaraunt, but we were blown away by the food! My partner had the steak diane and was amazed. Now as someone that tries the fish wherever I go I went the barramundi... BEST fish I have ever had any where. And the prices were very reasonable. Was well looked after all evening.The food was great euthentic Italian food.Good serving sizes too.We were all please with food and service.Would recommend to anyone. We were trying to decide which restaurant to try as we're not locals in this area and this restaurant was very busy so we decided to give it a go. The female staff were very helpful and friendly even though they were flat out. Both meals were very large portions and even though some meat mains can be expensive, the pasta and pizza meals were well priced. I would definately recommend this restaurant. Posted 02 Nov 2008 by InTheKnow The place was almost empty inside for a Friday night and after our unfriendly welcome and lengthy wait for a menu and drinks I realised why. Mr C ordered steak which tasted bland and as if it had been microwaved and i ordered the Veal Scallopini which was very tasty. The bruschetta was fairly ordinary and nothing made us want to stay beyond hurridly finishing our meals and leaving. Posted 26 Mar 2008 by Tony G The entire experience was fantastic here, from when we arrived and were met by the smiling manageress till we left. From a 30 year resident of the Gold Coast, I have not had better Italian food than here. All of the dishes were delicious, and cooked to perfection by Mama in the kitchen, who came out to meet us also. You must try the dessert if you come here, you will be amazed!!
