Help! There’s a cat in my pantry

This is our naughty cat Jackson who loves to jump in the pantry at every chance he gets. He normally burrows into the back corner and is a pain to get out. Sometimes I don’t even know that he’s jumped in there until I hear a faint meow. He also loves playing a game of jumping on the kitchen bench when I’m making dinner and hiding behind the cookbook stand. He’s been known to steal cheese, sliced salami and has a special penchant for smoked salmon and tandoori chicken.

LOL, i thought that was MY cat!! i guess jackson is a burmese? bit hard to tell with the lighting in the photo. in any case, very cute :)

thanks for adding me to your blogroll, btw. regards from canada.

Thanks - yes he is a Burmese and he’s a lovely cat. Always purring and loves a cuddle. He loves to ‘help’ in the kitchen and watch what we’re doing. Can’t wait to read what you’re making next.

hi goldie, no mistaking those eyes and that face; this particular breed seems especially popular in australia, nz & the uk for some reason and not as much where i live.

you’re right that they want to be involved in everything. when he’s not sleeping, mine is by my side demanding to be involved in everything if not howling to be picked up and ‘babied’. looking forward to seeing more of jackson in the future :)
